Our Commitment
The MehiCentre is a trading name for our incorporated association, 'Yaggabi Dhangal Inc.' We believe culture and pride are strong when our Law is strong. Knowing who you are and your connection to country and taking action to improve your country and the lives that are connected to it. We live because our ancestors trod the path for us. Let's honour them in the way we live our lives.
The objects for which the Association is established are:
1. To promote the social, cultural, educational, and economic well-being of the Aboriginal community in New South Wales.
2. To provide services, programmes, activities, and support that address the needs of community members, including but not limited to welfare, education, health, housing, employment, and cultural activities.
3. To advocate on behalf of the community to all levels of government, statutory authorities, and other organisations.

Cutmore family
This is to honor my connection to Goombri [Guumbaraay] country of Terry Hie Hie [Dhirri-aay-aay], my old grandfather Peter Cutmore the 1st [183?-1927] and his descendants.
Peter was a true survivor of the massacre days of first colonization of the Gwydir. His 1,000 descendants owe him a great deal.
